AboutAbout the lab
Exploring social phenomena through surveys and data
The Social Analysis Studio aims to explore the phenomena and issues inherent in society while students acquire a variety of methods of social analysis.
Students learn broadly in both qualitative and quantitative research, the respective specialties of the faculty members in charge.
On that basis, according to their own research interests, students aim to be able to concretely analyze issues in urban society as well as politics, gender, and the movement of people amid internationalization.
Some programs involve fieldwork off campus.
