The lab explores wireless communication and networking technologies.

The Onizawa Lab studies wireless communication, networking, and information and communication technologies. Its research topics include wireless transmission technologies that improve spectral efficiency and wireless network configuration technologies that support environments with extremely dense terminals. The lab also lists information and communication technologies that use artificial intelligence, machine learning, and sensing techniques as research topics. Prof. Onizawa worked on wireless communication research and development at NTT laboratories before being appointed Professor in the Department of Information and Computer Technology, Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo University of Science, in April 2024.
