安森研究室は、建築意匠学を地球と社会のやりとりの中で捉え直し、これからの建築の理論と実践を探求しています。
素材、産業、空地などをフィールドワークで調べ、類型（タイポロジー）と生態系（エコロジー）の往復から建築を考えます。
建築意匠・建築設計とあわせて、キャンパスと都市のデザインも扱います。

建築意匠: 建物の形や空間、素材の見せ方をどう構想するかを扱う、建築デザインの分野
タイポロジー: 建物やまちの形を、共通する特徴でいくつかの型に分けて捉える見方
エコロジー: 生きものと環境のつながりを扱う生態学。建築では素材や資源のめぐりを含めて考える
