The International Graduate Program in Civil Engineering (IGSI) trains people who can work in civil engineering to solve problems mainly in cities in emerging and developing countries. The course offers practical education with an emphasis on studio-based education. The course is not only for Japanese students; it is also established to educate international students, including master's students in the MEXT special program for government-sponsored international students.
