Masayuki Arai, Professor
0 student voices
The Arai Lab conducts analytical and experimental research on mechanics of materials, elasticity, plasticity, damage mechanics, and interface mechanics. The lab's keyword is "materials technology for coexisting with natural disasters," and developing this technology is its major research goal. The lab works on damage assessment of components used at high temperatures, such as gas turbines, and on developing testing machines that measure the strength of thin coatings.

Soichiro Fujimura, Lecturer
0 student voices
The Fujimura Lab researches the development of medical devices and diagnostic and treatment support technologies using numerical analysis and AI. Its research field is fluid engineering (computational fluid dynamics analysis), and its research keywords also include biomedical engineering and neurosurgery. Lecturer Soichiro Fujimura also serves as a lecturer in the Advanced Medical Information Technology Research Division at The Jikei University School of Medicine. Lecturer Fujimura's research record includes a study using numerical analysis of coil embolization for cerebral aneurysms, and the development of an AI-based support program for unruptured cerebral aneurysms.
