The lab studies the construction of a basic system that links university basic research to new industries efficiently, quickly, and reliably. It also puts effort into collaboration and exchange with research institutions overseas, and is in charge of joint research and personnel exchange with the international research institute imec. The Matsumoto Group aims to build a biosensing system using graphene FETs to quickly detect the various viruses lurking in living spaces. The Kobayashi Group studies the creation and properties of silicon-based agents.
