A lab that tackles challenges in energy, the environment, and welfare through radiation, magnetic fields, and biomeasurement.

The Quantum Beam Biomaterials Engineering Lab conducts research aimed at contributing to solutions for problems in energy, the environment, and welfare, built on three technologies: radiation, magnetic fields, and biomeasurement. The lab studies the effects of radiation on materials, living organisms, and the surrounding environment. It also researches environmental cleanup, resource recovery, and minimally invasive treatment through control of magnetic force, as well as studies that use biomeasurement to improve people's quality of life (QOL). On the lab's website, it is presented under the name "Sato Lab."
