An endowed research division that advances electric power distribution and control toward a decarbonized society.

The Energy Systems (Chubu Electric Power) Endowed Research Division studies power distribution equipment and energy transmission and control systems toward realizing a decarbonized society. Using IoT and DX, the division works on advancing next-generation power distribution equipment and energy transmission and control systems, and on making them environmentally compatible. In its research, the division maps out a path for the social implementation of the technology while deepening collaboration with various organizations. The division also engages in integration with society, outreach, collaboration with regional universities, and educational support, and works to develop people who can identify problems and lead to solving them.
