The lab creates next-generation solar cells from new π-conjugated systems.

The Molecular Aggregation Analysis Lab (Wakamiya Lab) upholds the principle of “Needs Inspired Fundamental Science” and works on the chemistry of new π-conjugated systems, the creation of functional π-electron systems that take advantage of the properties of elements, and the development of next-generation solar cells as printable electronics. In particular, the lab takes on the materials chemistry of perovskite solar cells and their practical application.
